Miriam Cohen, or how to repair the irreparable

Professor Miriam Cohen recently had the pleasure of speaking with Clément Souchet of Quartier Libre, the student newspaper of the Université de Montréal.

In this interview, Professor Cohen discussed her origins, her background and one of her main research interests: international reparative justice.

You have to ask yourself the question: "How do you repair the irreparable?" It's very complex to conceptualize. Victims are not just spectators, they are stakeholders in trials.

Professor Cohen was delighted to speak with this student organization from the Université de Montréal, where she is a researcher and associate professor of public international law and international human rights law.
