She stated that President Trump “gives the impression that he considers himself above the rules” and “has never hidden his contempt for international law and war laws. From the principle prohibiting the use of force without a Security Council mandate or in cases of self-defence, right through to the conduct of hostilities, he breaches the fundamental norms of international law".
