Rayene Bouzitoun

Student in the Common Law program, Faculty of Law, Université de Montréal.

Rayene Bouzitoun is currently a student in the Common Law program at Université de Montréal. Previously, Rayene obtained her Licence en droit (LL.L.) as well as a B.Sc.Soc. specializing in international development and globalization at the University of Ottawa, where she studied as a 2018 Loran McCall McBain Scholar. Rayene joined the Canada Research Chair in Human Rights and International Restorative Justice as a Research Associate in January 2023. Her research interests revolve around the notion of international restorative justice and transitional justice processes. In September 2023, Rayene will fly to England to pursue graduate studies at Oxford University with the support of a Rhodes Scholarship.
