Janie Renaud holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal, which she completed while pursuing the Faculty of Law's honorary program. She has been a member of the Research Chair team since June 2023. From 2020 to 2022, she was involved with the Université de Montréal's United Nations Delegation, holding the position of Chief Delegate and External Affairs Officer. She is particularly interested in human rights issues and the reception of international law in Canadian domestic law.
