Professor Cohen contributes to another La Presse article

Professor Miriam Cohen was consulted by journalist Mélanie Marquis of La Presse for her article "Canadiens coincés en Syrie - Ottawa sommé par la Cour d'étudier leur rapatriement."

Professor Cohen's intervention allowed her to enlighten readers on the comparison between the obligation to repatriate Canadians currently located in Syria and the Omar Khadr case that occupied the Supreme Court and the political arena in 2010.

Professor Cohen noted the possibility of comparing the current situation to the case of Omar Khadr in the event that long delays in the repatriation of Canadians could cause a violation of their rights.
